My inspiration comes through Jesus Christ, because it is through Him that all things are possible. I have never proclaimed to be an artist; however, the talent I have is a gift from Him that I feel compelled to share. None of my trees are alike. They are unique, sometimes distorted, and even incomplete. I create my trees this way because they are an extension of the shattered world we live in. When I see a tree, I cannot help but notice it’s uniqueness and the beauty that has grown from it imperfections. A tree not only provides the oxygen we need it to survive, it is also symbolic of the tree that was cut down and made to bare the biggest weight of this world - our sin. I believe that through my artwork I am able to witness and share His word.
